The 215 Challenge

Project Big is about more than new buildings. It’s about trusting and believing God is able to do more than we can ask think or imagine. We aren’t simply asking God to fund the $21.5 million estimated to complete our new building plans – we are believing for $215 million new dollars to flow into the economy of our city and for this project to be funded from the overflow of that.

We are believing for poverty to be broken in our region. We are believing for enough and extra so that we can be a blessing in our community. And with that being said, we want to exercise our faith with a challenge.

The 215 challenge is simply a way to put our faith in action through generosity. James 2:15 says… “15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?”

So here is the challenge, take the number 215 and find a way to be generous to others in our community. Maybe you want to simply donate $215 to a local cause, or find 2 people to bless with $15. or maybe you set aside time at 2:15 each day to pray for the prosperity of our region. However, you express it is up to you and whatever the Holy Spirit leads you to do. Be creative with it. Use this challenge as a way to exercise your faith. Maybe you want to get 21 $5 bills and find creative ways to bless people you encounter that day. What you do isn’t as important as why you do it. Participate in this challenge as a prophetic act to see blessings flow in our city.

The final part of the challenge is to share it with others. When you find a creative way to bless someone else using the number 215, you can use the hashtag #go215 to post on social media about it. The point of sharing isn’t to draw attention to ourselves or make ourselves look good, it is simply to encourage and inspire others to take up the challenge as well. It’s not about the amount, it’s about our faith. We invite you to join us in exercising our faith. Let’s take the 215 challenge!!
