It’s time for the latest update on Project Big!

Let’s get straight to the biggest news. Drumroll, please… 
We are so excited to officially announce the date of our groundbreaking ceremony – April 27th! We are so close to beginning the renovation and construction of the new school facilities. We want to invite you to join us for a special groundbreaking event that Wednesday evening. We plan to set up a stage out on the ballfield with live music. We will be cooking hamburgers and hotdogs and having some fun bounce houses for the kids. More details will be announced over the next month. 
 
You may have noticed some activity on the grounds lately… 

We have been able to make some immediate improvements to the facilities as we have continued to work behind the scenes preparing for the first phase of construction. We have replaced the leaky roof on our existing building and replaced a large section of the old, weathered fence on the edge of the property near University Place. These small steps are preparation for the bulk of the project that is going to begin soon. 

We’ve also added some new Project Big items to the foyer to keep the vision in front of us. Our Dream Wall has an official drop box now, and you might have noticed some new signs and digital displays to help everyone stay up to date on our progress. 
 
Those are the highlights for now, and we can’t wait to join you on the 27th of April to officially break ground on Project BIG!
